The Tata Punch facelift 2025 arrives with a more modern, aggressive front-end design inspired by Tata’s new design philosophy seen in the Nexon and Harrier facelifts. Updates include sharper LED DRLs, a redesigned grille, and a sleeker bumper profile. The rear gets revised tail-lamps and dual-tone options for a sportier stance, while the new alloy wheel design completes the visual refresh.
Updated Interior With Premium Touches
Inside, the Punch facelift gets an upgrade in materials and layout. The cabin now features a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen, digital instrument cluster, and updated AC vents. Tata has also added wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice commands, and improved dashboard textures to make the cabin feel more premium in this segment.
Enhanced Safety and Build Quality
Already known for its 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, the new Punch facelift may include additional safety features such as six airbags in top variants, 360-degree camera, TPMS, and rear disc brakes. Tata continues to offer strong build quality, reinforcing the Punch’s reputation as one of the safest compact SUVs in its class.
Engine and Transmission Options
Mechanically, the facelift retains the tried-and-tested 1.2L Revotron petrol engine, producing around 88hp and 115Nm. It is paired with a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox, both tuned for city comfort and highway mileage. Tata may also introduce mild hybrid tech or a CNG variant in future updates to keep up with the competition.
Expected Pricing and Variants
The 2025 Tata Punch facelift is expected to be priced from around ₹6.30 lakh to ₹10.20 lakh (ex-showroom) depending on the variant. It will compete with the Hyundai Exter, Maruti Fronx, and Renault Kiger, offering excellent value through its design, safety, and feature upgrades.
Better, Bolder, and More Feature-Rich
The Tata Punch Facelift continues to dominate the compact SUV space by enhancing the formula that made it a bestseller. With refreshed looks, improved tech, and strong safety credentials, it’s ideal for first-time SUV buyers, small families, and young professionals seeking a stylish, reliable, and affordable ride.
