Nissan Magnite Facelift Unveiled: Bold New Design and Feature Upgrades for 2025

Nissan has officially taken the wraps off the Nissan Magnite Facelift, bringing a fresh new design, smarter features, and improved comfort to one of India’s most popular compact SUVs. First launched in 2020, the Magnite quickly became a game-changer in the sub-4-metre SUV segment thanks to its aggressive pricing and feature-loaded variants. With the 2025 facelift, Nissan aims to regain momentum and position the Magnite as a stronger rival to cars like the Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter, and Maruti Brezza.

Refreshed Styling and Premium Road Presence

The new Nissan Magnite gets a sharper, more dynamic exterior design inspired by Nissan’s global SUV lineup. The updated front fascia includes a redesigned grille with chrome detailing, sleeker LED headlamps, and a more sculpted bumper with new fog lamp housings. The rear too gets a subtle makeover with updated LED tail lights, a restyled bumper, and new alloy wheel designs. While the overall proportions remain compact, the visual enhancements give the SUV a more premium and aggressive stance on the road.

Interior Upgrades and New Tech Features

Inside the cabin, the Magnite facelift sees several refinements aimed at improving comfort and tech appeal. The dashboard gets a refreshed finish with soft-touch materials in higher variants. The highlight is the new 9-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, accompanied by a fully digital instrument cluster. Nissan has also added features like a wireless charger, auto-dimming IRVM, rear AC vents, and a 360-degree camera—bringing it closer to premium segment standards.

Engine and Transmission Options Remain Familiar

Under the hood, the updated Magnite continues to offer the tried-and-tested 1.0-litre petrol and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine options. The naturally aspirated unit is mated to a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox, while the turbo variant offers the choice of a manual or CVT. While no mechanical changes have been introduced, refinement levels are expected to improve slightly with better cabin insulation and ECU tuning for smoother power delivery. Fuel efficiency figures are expected to remain class-leading.

Safety and Variant-Wise Pricing

In terms of safety, the facelifted Magnite now comes equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-start assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on mid and top variants. Nissan has confirmed that the Magnite facelift will continue to be offered in XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium trims, with dual-tone options and tech packs for added customization. The starting price is expected to remain aggressive at around ₹6 lakh (ex-showroom), with top-end turbo CVT variants priced close to ₹10.5 lakh.

Still a Strong Value Buy

With refreshed styling, new features, and a solid safety package, the Nissan Magnite Facelift 2025 strengthens its appeal in the compact SUV space. It retains its core strengths of affordability, style, and practicality, while adding enough upgrades to remain competitive. For urban buyers looking for a well-equipped, fuel-efficient, and modern SUV under ₹11 lakh, the new Magnite continues to be a top contender.
