MG (Morris Garages) has officially unveiled the Windsor Pro in India, marking its entry into the premium electric sedan space. The design reflects a blend of British sophistication and futuristic aesthetics, featuring a coupe-like silhouette, frameless windows, and a wide LED light bar that stretches across the front. Its aerodynamic profile, flush door handles, and minimalist surface details enhance not only style but also efficiency. The Windsor Pro comes in luxurious dual-tone options with chrome touches that rival German counterparts.
Massive Range & High-Performance Electric Drivetrain
At the heart of the Windsor Pro is a 100 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, offering a claimed range of up to 700 km (WLTP) — making it one of the longest-range EVs in its segment. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant produces up to 400 PS and 700 Nm of torque, delivering 0–100 km/h in under 4.5 seconds, while the standard rear-wheel-drive version balances power with efficiency. It supports 250kW ultra-fast DC charging, capable of charging from 10–80% in just 20 minutes.
Tech-Filled Interior with AI, Voice & Lounge Comfort
Inside, the Windsor Pro is a true tech lounge on wheels. It features a 34-inch floating 6K curved OLED screen, AI-powered voice assistant, gesture controls, and MG’s new iSmart 3.0 OS. A panoramic glass roof, 64-color ambient lighting, and massaging ventilated seats in Nappa leather elevate cabin comfort. The rear seats are reclinable with dedicated climate and media controls, aiming directly at chauffeur-driven buyers as well as tech-savvy drivers.
ADAS Level 3, 5-Star Safety & Autonomous Readiness
The Windsor Pro is among the few cars in its price class offering Level 3 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in India, including adaptive cruise control, lane centering, auto lane change, traffic jam assist, automatic emergency braking, and hands-free highway driving in mapped zones. The platform supports future OTA upgrades for semi-autonomous features, and it comes with 9 airbags, 360° camera, and 5-star NCAP global crash safety rating.
MG Windsor Pro Price in India & Availability
The MG Windsor Pro is expected to be priced between ₹45 lakh and ₹55 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant (RWD or AWD). It will be available via MG’s flagship showrooms, with bookings open soon. With its 700km range, luxury-loaded cabin, and ADAS-equipped performance, the Windsor Pro is positioned as a true alternative to premium EVs like the Hyundai Ioniq 6, BYD Seal, or even entry-level trims of the BMW i4.
